eBook

Q: How do I access my eBook?

A: To read an eBook on a PC a reader which is compatible with .epub format is required. We recommend Adobe Digital Editions which is free software available for download at www.adobe.com. When reading on a mobile device such as Apple or Android the preinstalled reader is compatible.

Q: Where do I go to troubleshoot Adobe Digital Editions?

A: If you are unable to read your eBook, there may be a problem with your installation of the Adobe Digital Editions software. Please visit the following websites for customer support:

Q: May I share my eBook with others?

A: Unless the copyright statement within the eBook specifies otherwise, all content is copyrighted and may not be copied, reproduced, or shared.

You may not give away an eBook or transfer the user rights to another individual, group, or organization if it has been purchased under your name. eBooks cannot be shared with your staff. Each member of your staff must purchase and download a separate copy of the eBook.

You are not allowed to sell, lend, or distribute your eBook to another user, group or organization.

Q: My preferred device for eBooks is the Amazon Kindle.

A: The Amazon Kindle requires a proprietary eBook format and is not compatible with digital publications sold from our store. Many of our publications are available to be purchased from the Kindle store.

Q: May I print or copy and paste my eBook?

A: In order to protect its intellectual property the Internal Audit Foundation holds digital rights on its eBooks which do not permit printing and copying. Softcover and hardcover versions of most of our titles are available for customers who prefer printed materials.

Q: How can I place an order?

A: There are several ways orders may be placed.

Q: Is there special pricing for members of The IIA?

A: Yes, all IIA members receive discounts on most IIA and Internal Audit Foundation published products. Member prices are listed on the website.

Q: Are volume discounts offered?

A: Yes. Volume discounts start at 20% off. Discounts are available on IIA and Internal Audit Foundation published products only. For details please email bookstore@theiia.org.

Q: Can I use multiple coupon codes on the same order?

Only one promotion may be applied to an order.

Q: Is there special pricing for IIA Affiliates, Chapters, and Institutes?

A: Affiliates, Chapters, and Institutes are eligible for discounted pricing. These discounts are not currently available through the online store. For details please contact bookstore@theiia.org.

Q: Do you offer a discount to bookstore resellers?

A: Reseller discounts are available on IIA and Internal Audit Foundation published products. For details please contact bookstore@theiia.org.

Payment Information

Q: What forms of payment are accepted?

A: We accept MasterCard, VISA, American Express, and Discover cards, check, and wire transfer.

Q: Can I order online without a credit card?

A: At this time the only way to place an order online is with a credit card.  To place an order with an alternate form of payment please contact our customer relations team for assistance by calling +1-407-937-1470 or emailing bookstore@theiia.org.

Shipping Information

Q: How long will it take my order to arrive?

A: Standard shipping time for orders in the United States can take 3-7 business days for delivery. Anything delivered internationally can take 1-3 weeks for delivery due to customs delays, etc.

Q: What carrier do you use to ship your packages?

A: At this time we use UPS for most shipments.

Q: How can I find out if my order has shipped or get the tracking number for my package?

A: Please contact by email: bookstore@theiia.org or by telephone +1-407-937-1470 to request information on your order.

Q: Do you ship to my country?

A: We ship to all countries unless they are under the US General Trade Embargo.

Q: Do I have to pay customs fees outside the U.S.?

A: If you live outside the United States, customs and tariff fees may apply according to your country’s import laws. These fees are not collected by the Internal Audit Foundation nor does the Foundation have control of these fees.

The Internal Audit Foundation is not responsible for customs or broker's fees. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. You should contact your local customs office for further information. Customers are liable for any fees charged by customs or by parcel carrier if an order is refused by the customer at time of delivery.

Q: Failed Delivery Attempts

Most of our carriers make three attempts to deliver a package. Packages that contain more than $400 of merchandise will always require a signature; otherwise, it is generally up to the driver's discretion to determine whether a signature is required. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature and no one is present to accept the delivery after three attempts, the package will be returned to us.

Returns

Q: What is the Bookstore’s return policy?

A: The Internal Audit Foundation guarantees your satisfaction! If the product you order does not meet your needs for any reason, send it back to the Internal Audit Foundation Distribution Center along with a copy of your packing slip within 30 days, and we will gladly issue a refund or credit. The product must be in restockable condition.

The Internal Audit Foundation does not accept returns of downloadable or online products including eBooks.

The Internal Audit Foundation is not responsible for merchandise damaged while being returned to us and will not issue credit or refund. The customer will be responsible for filing a claim with the shipper.

The Internal Audit Foundation will not issue a refund or credit for discontinued merchandise.

If returned outside of the parameters of the return policy, the shipment will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense.

Q: Which product is best to study for the CIA Exam?

A: The decision to choose which review product is best for you to purchase is a personal decision and one that we cannot make for you. It depends on your personal study style. Based on bookstore sales and customer feedback our top sellers are The IIA’s CIA Learning System and Gleim’s Premium CIA Review System.
